Idle Farm Equipment

Posted by American Ferret (Eastern, United States) on 12 May 2014 in Documentary & Street.

(Archery, Georgia) A line of old and rusted farm equipment sits idle in a field at Jimmy Carter's Boyhood Farm, no longer doing the jobs they were designed and built to do. Gazing upon these old farm implements we get a sense of just how labor intensive farming was as recently as the first half of the twentieth century.
